Lāhainā Jodo Mission

Though physcially lost to the Lahaina Fires, the Lāhainā Jodo Mission's community continues it's mission to be a beacon of peace and spiritual heritage. Established in 1912, this mission is a pivotal site for the Pure Land (Jodo Shu) Buddhist tradition in Hawaii. The Lāhainā Jodo Mission not only serves as a religious sanctuary but also as a cultural treasure, preserving and promoting the teachings and traditions of Buddhism.

Special Thanks

HTA sharing their classroom and tech space with our community
